Shawn Hogan is Getting Sued via eBay: DP News
eBay filed case against Digital Point Solutions, who are perfectly known as proprietor of most famous web site landlord communities, and the others alleged schemes of the stuffing cookie.
As to filing suit in District Court of the Northern California, Digital Point Solutions and Shawn Hogan, Thunder wood Holdings, Brian Dunning, Kessler’s Flying Circus and the Todd Dunning defrauded eBay in the scheme of the cookie stuffing which conclude that commission should be paid to their companies on the affiliate sales of eBay.
Scheme worked as: automatically users were redirected to the eBay without making click on advertisement of eBay that result in the affiliate cooking which is placed on the marked of the users computer with affiliate defendants code thus for the future purchasing, they are able to get the cut.
Complaint affirm that defendants tried their best for hiding the scheme by using the misleading means for preventing from discovering fraud and also to hide it. The eBay is also demanding to punitive, compensatory and treble damages.
It is not understandable that whether users itself on the Digital Point were redirected in this scheme, but appears that from filing there was the straight relationship on few of the levels.
As in the 1 way, it was as easy as too brilliant, but the question arises that really they think they will go with it, or still better that the eBay will not notice it?
