Karva chauth is the fast assumed through wedded Hindu women who pray for the prosperity, longevity, well-being and welfare of their spouses. Karva Chauth fast comes 9 days previous to Diwali on the Kartik Ki Chauth for a time in October or November. It is regarded the vital fast observed through the women of Northern India. A lady keeps these types of fast for the happiness of her spouse, who becomes defender following she departs her parents residence. Her husband make available with shelter, food, comfort, happiness, respectability and clothing. The women take a seat before elder member (and there are no banned on widows, the family unit recites the tale and does chanting, and every women doing puja. Firstly roli teeka is pertained on forehead of the Gaur previous to the beginning of the puja.) Each person does puja through dropping the third finger of right hand in the water spraying it with the support of thumb three times the divinity; and the same process has to be continual roli and aipun, finally rice is sprayed. Describes the bathing of goddess, beautification with putting of teeka with the roli and finally, worship the goddess with rice.
