HP Mini 100e Education Edition : affordable and good spec ‘Built for School’ netbook

As a positive response to OLPC (One laptop Per Child) ‘building nation’ program, HP launched its HP Mini 100e, the especially ‘built for school’ netbook, on previous June 23rd 2010. The main goal of HP Mini 100e is to provide an affordable netbook for students worldwide for learning more about technologies. HP Mini 100e will be available worldwide on July 2010.
As it is for children, HP Mini 100e is built of strong metal-steel alloy casing with a spill-resistant keyboard and a carrying handle. There is also an obvious LED light for students and teachers to see which indicates the netbook is connected to the internet. WiFi and built-in modem are available for students to online anywhere and anytime. It has a 10.1 inches display with a VGA webcam and a 92% full-size keyboard. The headphone and MIC ports are located separately to support the convenience in connecting to other devices. It has an excellent sound quality that reduces echo in the interactive class session.
Let your HP Mini 100e defines the real you! The casing and keyboard deck are customizable with any logos, pictures, etc.. It is using a powerful up to six-cell battery. It has a 1 GB DDR3 RAM for a faster data transfer, and a 160 GB internal storage.
With Intel Atom N455 processor and Intel NM10 Express chipset, the HP Mini 100e can cool down itself better than its formers. Comes with Windows 7 Starter / Windows XP / SUSE Linux Enterprise 11, HP Mini 100e is a feature-rich netbook with Microsoft Office 2010, also featuring the HP Microsoft Math education software and HP Microsoft Security Essentials software.
