Getting angry for everything?
“Practicing Yoga helps in avoiding anger and keeping a peaceful mental health”- said Mr. Swaminathan, Vice Chancellor of Bharathiyar University in Tamilnadu. In a recent workshop arranged by the University, a specialized “Yoga Research Forum” sponsored by Indian Institute of Yoga Naturopathy was conducted. Eminent personalities from related education and yoga institutions participated, including the Director, Indian Institute of Yoga, Mr. Arivazhagan.
The Vice Chancellor of Tamilnadu Physical Education and Sports University, Mr. Vaidhyanathan inaugurated the Forum and said “ by practicing Yoga our body gets the desired flexibility and in the present day mechanical life, Yoga is the sparking light in driving away our misconceptions about physical education. School and College students should give importance to playing various kinds of sports and physical exercises, apart from their books. Competing in sports events, without minding the result, as well as practicing Yoga are very much important for them. This way they will keep good health throughout their life, instead of going to the physicians at old age. “
The Vice Chancellor of Bharathiyar University, Mr. Swaminathan, who presided, said “Yoga means meditation. It helps avoiding diseases, and fatigue caused by present day life-styles. The awareness of Yoga is very much visible in educational as well as industrial organizations as a reliever of stress and strain. Yoga helps avoiding anger, gaining a peaceful healthy mental attitude and progress of the society as a whole. Yoga is a very good exercise for mental as well as physical health.”
So in accordance with the above advices given by persons, who are in the know, why not start Yoga practice and avoid anger for everything?
