NASA showers praise on Chandrayan-1

US Space Research organization “NASA” has showered a rain of praises on the Indian space mission Chandrayan-I and its first authentic discovery of possibilities of existence of water in the Moon.
With billions of dollars spending, the American Space Research Institution is undoubtedly the most advanced one. Various countries including US have been engaged in the research, to find out the real atmosphere in Moon by sending spaceships. But it is India with its limited financial resources that has successfully sent out Chandrayan-1 to the Moon, on 22nd October 2008, to explore the possibilities of existence of water and other natural resources there. It is noteworthy that Chandrayan-1 is the very first of its kind for India.
Chandrayan had been sending valuable data about Moon for the last 10 months and after having completed its job upto 95%, the spaceship last its contact with the ground. The scientists at ISRO were of the opinion that Chandrayan-1 is not a failure, as the photos and data sent by it are enough for further research on the Moon for the next two years.
The Director of NASA – Gim Green – has whole-heartedly praised the efforts of ISRO and Chandrayan-I saying “We are indebted to the Indian Space Research wing ISRO for providing authentic clues for existence of water in Moon through Chandrayan. All along the scientists were of the impression that Moon is a planet full of rocks and Chandrayan has dispelled this notion by its valuable discovery”. Within 15 days of its mission started, Chandrayan has sent photos of the Moon’s surface, which have been processed by NASA to prove the existence of water molecules.
Every Indian can be reasonably proud for this remarkable discovery of Chandrayan-I.

Even though Google hasn’t been put in a positive spotlight lately with all the controversy surrounding it’s true intentions with the Google Voice app, that still shouldn’t detract from the fact that sometime in September Google turned 11! For some reason, in fact, even the Google creators cannot remember when it actually exposed the world to its wonderfulness. This lack of an unknown fact is surely no more important than knowing how the world came to be, when the second coming of Christ is (or his actual birth date for that matter), or even if the world is truly going to end in 2012.

If you are an avid Google user or just have a keen eye, you probably notice that the word “Google” changes periodically from seasonal scenes, to scenes honoring historic moments, etc. Did you notice that Google added an extra “L” (meant to stand for 11)? Back when it was only 10 years in the making, Google quietly removed one “O” and snuck in a little cupcake. How ingenious! This tactic might be viewed by some as playful, but others may view it as a ploy to get one to think they are a “goody two-shoes” entity.

Nevertheless, Google should be congratulated for surviving for these 11 years, which is longer than most marriages these days! Happy Birthday, Google!

Movie Review – Night At The Museum – Part II

This movie – Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is sent out as the sequel to the earlier one – Night at the Museum, which hit the box office in 2006. The story goes about to enlighten the kids with museum pieces kept at the American Museum of Natural History in New York coming to life – by the wonder effects of an ancient tablet from Egyptian culture.

This is a Comedy genre move where you see a Roman General; Teddy Roosevelt; Pocahontas; wooly mammoths; and T-Rex bundled in the same frame. In this second part of the movie, one of the most prestigious and largest museums in the world, Smithsonian, is taken as the location, where the pieces are shifted.

The hero, Daley, the Night Guard, played by Ben Stiller, comes to life and enters the Alfred Eisentaedt photograph, which shows a sailor kissing the nurse and the hilarious actions follow a Degas ballerina; Jeff Koons balloon dog and a magical moment.

Overall the incoherent script spoils the show. A lot of talented actors have been found wasted – including Own Wilson spending all his screen time getting buried into an hour-glass; Robin Williams who makes a brief appearance; and even the wonderful Steve Coogan, the British actor fails to impress in a computer-generated action scenes.

The relief is there are some few comic moments, amusing the audience by Hank Azaria who plays a wicked pharaoh, in his constant chase of the mysterious tablet to conquer the world. His British accent, lisping and fumbling is beautifully funny.

The movie Night At The Museum may amuse the kids with the non-stop parade of fictitious creatures coming on and on. But it lacks entertainment with its long and tiresome narration.

The First Hindi Film to Be Made In China

Chandni Chowk to China is a Hindi film that was released in January 2009. It was directed by Nikhil Advani and stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. This is the first Hindi film that was filmed partially in China. There were several scenes of this movie that were filmed in Bangkok, Thailand. The film represents the third Bollywood movie made and distributed.

The main character, Sidhu is a vegetable cutter at a roadside food stall in the Chandni Chowk section of Delhi. He dreams that someday he would leave his forsaken job to bigger and better adventures. This comes true when two strangers tell him he is a reincarnated war hero and take him to China.

Along his travels He meets the love of his life, Sakhi, who is also on a journey to the land of her birth. While in China, he comes across evil Hojo, who had tried to kill Sakhi’s father. Sidhu looks for revenge on Hojo, after he tries to kill Sidhu. Sidho trains with another stranger to improve his Kung Fu fighting skills so that he can defeat Hojo and win the love of Sakhi. Reviews considered this movie entertaining but said it was a little long and drawn out.

Here is a beautiful evening in my life and the most waited too. I am all set to begin but a few more minutes of waiting is left. I am waiting but for whom? My best friend. We have not met for a year. Well I’m planning to make the evening even more special by having pizza 2 night but will he prefer the same thing? Well he should because “pizza 2 night” goes a long way in the history of our friendship. Why not go back and experience again those moments until he arrives? It was the night of the last day of my college. I was tired sitting at home after heavy celebrations. Was too hungry but my mind was not settling for the ordinary food my mom had made. I got a call from my best friend and he asks “what about pizza 2 night?”

After a long drive for about 25 minutes, we chose a small restaurant, which was adjacent to a beautiful lake. The specialty of the restaurant was that they made pizza in wooden oven just the way it is supposed to be made. I chose a pizza with lot of capsicum and onions as its topping roofed with extra mozzarella cheese and his all time favorite was mushroom toppings with tomatoes and mild cheese. The pizza was delicious and made our taste buds do salsa. Now I hear the bell ring on the door. Here he comes with chocolates and we go walking through the busy streets cherishing our olden moments. Time for dinner and I ask him “how about pizza 2 night?” there is a unexplainable smile on his face with which he agrees but this time we go to a different restaurant wanting to experiment new kind of pizzas. Pizza 2 night was indeed another memorable dinner.

The city of Runcorn is an industrial town located in the county of Cheshire, in England. It is a cargo port within the region of Halton. In the last census conducted in the year, its population was calculated approximately 62,000 out of which I suppose everyone must have at least tasted pizzas.

As the city is very close to the western coast and the Irish Sea, the climate of the region is to the extremes of the temperature. Nevertheless, with these extreme temperature people are very fond of fast food. Believe me Pizzas are a hot favorite. There are thousands of pizza restaurants and outlets available in Runcorn alone.
