ASUS EEE Pad Slider: Not much of a change in dimension, capabilities or features from EEE Transformer version. Only significant change is 3 G connectivity. Expected to get released in May 2011 with price range of $699-$799.

ASUS EEE Pad MeMO: This will be the miniature model of the above two. 7 inch touchscreen display; special stylus for easy input; mini HDMI port for 1080p video playback. Expected release – June 2011 and price range $499-$699.

The Consumer Electronic Show 2011 has many ultra-modern gadgets for view. Among the much-talked about ones are, the Tablets with smart-phone computing technology of Android. Toshiba have brought out one – yet to be named or release date indicated – tablet device, looking the same size of an iPad was catchy for the eyes. For functionalities and features? Yes – it is going to use Google’s Honeycomb Operating System like its peers, which were on show at CES.

Outwardly with the rubberized Easy Grip back it is thicker and heavier than iPad; but comfortable for holding in one hand. 10.1 inch multi-touch screen display with auto color and brightness adjustments; mini and full-size 2.0 USB port and an HDMI port through which you can output the content of 1080p to a larger screen – thanks to the Nvidia Tegra 2 duel core processor. On the side of the tablet there is a full sized SD port, which can read up to 120GB SDXC cards.

Toshiba’s new tablet is provided with two cameras – one front-facing 2 megapixel for video calling; and one rear-facing 5 megapixel camera. Other features include – 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity; availability of integrated GPS and compass technologies for navigation.

Motorola Xoom is provided with duel core processor – each core running at 1GHz and can deliver 2GHz output. The 10.1 inch widescreen display will support 1080p Video and HDMI output and can play web contents seamlessly with latest Adobe Flash Player.

It has front-facing 2 mega-pixel camera for video chats – Wi-Fi or 3G/4G LTE; rear-facing 5 mega-pixel camera for capturing video in 720p HD. You can enjoy gaming in 1280×800 display; Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction; access to Google’s eBook store; and thousands of other applications from the Android market.

Motorola Xoom can provide you with constant connectivity with mobile broadband speeds and comes with wireless keyboard and an array of accessories, made to expand its capabilities as you wish. It is expected to hit the market in Q1 2011 though price not announced yet.

With the announcement of Nokia E7 and Nokia C7, we can have glimpse of Latest Nokia X7 too. However it is not announced yet, but the video of Nokia X7 leaked on Youtube.

As Nokia comes with all its multimedia features in X series, X7 looks like to compete with Nokia N8 and C7. Experts assume its unofficial announced features 4.0 inches display with 360 x 640 pixels and AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. four speakers with 3.5 mm audio jack. Camera with 8 MP, 3264×2448 pixels, fixed focus, dual-LED flash, and supporting Symbian^3 OS.

The design is unique unlike other latest Nokia mobile phones. Audio should be loud due to four speakers. Although there is not any official announcement so we’ll have to wait until next declaration. I am eager to know its price.

I guess this device will change the general aura of Nokia X series.

HTC decided to launch its Wildfire unlocked in India. As a cheaper substitute to the HTC Legend and HTC Desire this Wildfire is priced at16,000 INR (`) only, it possess Social networking integration (Twitter, Myspace, Facebook), 5 MP Flash autofocus camera, 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen display with UI Sense, FM radio, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, HTML browser. HTC Wildfire is powered by 512 MB ROM, 384 MB RAM and 528 MHz processor. It has 1300 mAH battery which provides 8 hour of talktime.

As per rumours HTC wildfire will be available in late July or early August 2010.
