Kashmiri Girl fights against Terrorists - rewarded
Jammu Kashmir – once India’s tourist paradise with its snow covered mountains like Switzerland, has been invaded by terrorists for quite some years now. Ambushes on unwary innocent village people are the order of the day. One such incident occurred on 27th September in a village of Rasoori District. 6 Terrorists carrying A.K. 47 barged into a house and threatened the family members at gun point, to hand over a maiden girl.
On refusal by the parents, they attacked them severely and in the scuffle, the elder son threw an axe at the terrorists. The young girl, Raxana got furious on seeing all these and bounced upon one terrorist. She threw him to the wall and snatched his A.K. 47 riffle. With the same fury, she fired many rounds blindly. One man fell dead and others ran away from the scene helter skelter.
The entire village came to know of this brave deed and praised Raxana immensely. She became headline news of the national papers. Instead of surrendering meekly, the girl had the courage to fight against the thugs and this was sensational news. All over the country she became so popular overnight. She was brought to Delhi and was honored with prizes by higher Government officials. TV cameras focused the limelight upon Raxana.
The President of India wanted to see the girl. The Central Government in recognition of the bravery of Raxana awarded her with the post of a higher Police official on special duty. Raxana’s brother Azzas and relative Hussain were also appointed in the Police force. The whole country is behind Raxana and showered congratulations on her.
Raxana will become terror for the terrorists hereafter – no doubt!
